Alcohol, Tobacco & Drug Use

The survey was created by the Schaefer Institute and our drug education unit the Institute for Substance Abuse Research (ISAR). Founded in 1985, ISAR develops effective educational and instructional multimedia programs for the home, school and the workplace.
Our Goal
The Target Drugs™ Student Survey is designed to help individual schools measure student alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, and assist them in their on-going drug education, awareness and prevention efforts.
Survey

The Survey is Free of Charge to Schools.

Funding is provided by the Schaefer Institute, Individuals and Corporate Sponsors.

Schools may e-mail us at bob@schaeferinstitute.org to request a template of the survey for their own printing or duplicating use.

Upon completion of the survey, participating schools may return the surveys to the Institute at the address listed below to be analyzed.
School Report
Data will be analyzed by the Institute for Substance Abuse Research. The report will include a variety of charts, graphs and a summary of the collected data. In addition, schools may pass the information on to parents, if they so desire.
Confidentiality
The participating school’s name and individual survey results are strictly confidential.
Use of Results
The accumulated data will be included in our national survey.
